The United States Minor Outlying Islands, collectively known as the US Minor Islands, are a group of small, uninhabited, or sparsely populated islands and atolls scattered across the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Atlantic Ocean. These islands are politically part of the United States but are not considered states or territories. They are governed by the United States Department of the Interior, specifically the Office of Insular Affairs.
